Kim's practice focuses on technology transactions and licensing. She advises entrepreneurs and early-stage and established biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, technology and service companies on their product discovery, development and commercialization related contracts. Kim has extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including license, collaboration, joint venture, material transfer, consulting, research, development, clinical trial, manufacturing and supply, and services agreements.
Kim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2002. Following graduation, Kim was an associate at Fried Frank LLP in Washington, DC, specializing in intellectual property and commercial transaction matters. After leaving Fried Frank, she joined the Technology Transactions and Licensing Group at WilmerHale LLP. At WilmerHale, Kim worked with clients on a variety of transactional matters in multiple industries, including life sciences and information technology.
